While the Clinical Medicine takes responsibility for the patient in front of you, Public Health is apparently different in the point that it takes responsibility for the group and focus on not only patients but also the healthy people in the purpose of preventing disorders.\u00a0 Therefore, the course provides Graduate School education to study the specialty and professional ethics related to the issue. In this Professional graduate school, the name of the course is \u2018School of Public Health\u2019 ,as publicness and professional ethics are regarded important.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"84\">Subjects<\/td>\n<td width=\"510\">There are totally 41 subjects provided. Some subjects are quantitative analysis type subjects such as \u2018Epidemiology\u2019, \u2018Biostatistics\u2019, and \u2018Health Economics\u2019. Some subjects are related to the behavioral medicine such as \u2018Mental Health\u2019, \u2018Health Education\u2019, and \u00a0\u2018Health Sociology\u2019, etc.\u00a0 Some subjects are related to policy making and management such as\u2019 Health Policy\u2019, \u2018Healthcare Informatics\u2019, and \u2018Forensic Medicine\u2019, etc. Details of subjects will be introduced at the course guidance.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"84\">Type of students desired\uff08provisional\uff09<\/td>\n<td width=\"510\">Advanced special professional who could play an active role in order to promote up-to-date research to engage in maintaining, increasing, and recovering the health and improving the quality of life of various people including national residents, local citizens, and patients as well as play leading and practical role in the field of Public Health.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"84\">Formation and reinforcement\u00a0policy of the\u00a0educational\u00a0course<\/td>\n<td width=\"510\">In the Professional graduate school , the School of Public Health will educate advanced professionals who could (1) acquire the analytical method which target health of human group, (2) \u00a0understand social system related to medical health systematically, (3) be superior in the ability for policy making and management, (4) have public health mind.\u00a0 School of Public Health\uff08Professional master degree\uff09will form and enforce the educational course in order to achieve above aims under the following policy.<\/p>\n<p>(1) \u00a0Curriculum consists of \u00a0the subjects group which targets the epidemiologic and\u00a0quantitative analysis, the subjects group which relates to the behavioral science and\u00a0social science of the field of medical health, and the subjects group that targets the\u00a0policy and management which is related to medical health and the clinical scene.\u00a0Subjects which relate to the global standard of the graduate school education of the\u00a0Public Health should be compulsory to take.<\/p>\n<p>(2) For the 1-year course, practical experience and professional ethics are considered\u00a0at the selection stage, and for the 2-year course, students will cultivate the\u00a0self-awareness as a professional who could relate to maintain and promote the health of\u00a0national citizens and local residents by gaining a chance to directly relate to the\u00a0practical activities and research activities and \u00a0engage in the \u2018Project Study\u2019.<br \/>\n(3) Curriculum is formed in a way by accepting various educational method such as\u00a0lectures and seminar by considering both theory and practice.<br \/>\n(4) Considering up-to-date issue of the Public Health, themes which promote the global\u00a0viewpoint will be taken in the course.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"84\">Degree providing policy<\/td>\n<td width=\"510\">In the Professional graduate school, the School of Public Health, students would be awarded \u2018the Master of the School of Public Health (MPH) \u2018who are trained as an advanced professional specialist who gained necessary credits according to the formation and enforcement policy of the educational course who (1) acquire the analytical method which target the health of human groups, (2) understand the social system which relate to the medical health systematically, (3) are superior to the ability for policy making and management, (4) hold \u2018the Public Health Mind\u2019 .<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"84\">Career\u00a0after\u00a0graduation<\/td>\n<td width=\"510\">Possible career for graduates of the graduate school of Public Health as follows:<\/p>\n<p>(1) Staff in charge of Public Health and Health Management Specialist for companies or other organizations who work for sudden accidental matter such as emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases, and bioterrorism, etc. (However, basically the medical qualification is needed for those area.)<\/p>\n<p>(2) Professionals of the Clinical Epidemiology and Health Economics who carry on the EBM and large-scale clinical trial which are the global trend of the field of medicine.<\/p>\n<p>(3) Hospital worker of the Patient Safety and Risk Management or Analyst of a think tank, NGO, etc. who could provide suggestions for Health Policy in the viewpoint of the patients and citizens.<\/p>\n<p>(4) Specialist of Healthcare Informatics with knowledge of the Medical System and Medical IT System who supports the head of the hospitals or Health Insurance Organizations.
