学位： 本課程の修了者には、公衆衛生学修士（専門職）-英語名：Master of Public Health(MPH)−が授与されます。
カリキュラム： 疫学、生物統計学、臨床疫学、保健医療経済学、医療コミュニケーション学、精神保健学、健康社会学、老年社会科学、医療倫理学、健康医療政策学、医療情報システム学、法医学・医事法学、医療安全管理学、健康危機管理学、環境健康医学などから構成され、この中から必修科目及び選択科目併せて30単位以上修得することで、公衆衛生学修士（専門職）の学位を修得することができます。
活躍の場： 修了者の活躍の場として、行政機関や企業・団体で保健医療行政・健康管理などに携わる公衆衛生医師等、EBMや臨床試験などを担う臨床疫学・医療経済評価専門家、保健医療分野の質の評価やアドボカシーなどに携わる保健医療アナリスト・コーディネーター、医療機関や健康保険団体の管理運営などに携わる医療情報・臨床工学システム管理者などが想定されます。
公共健康医学専攻（ＳＰＨ）は「東日本大震災の健康被害 公衆衛生に何ができるか」をテーマに、フォーラムを2回開催いたしました。本フォーラムの模様を日英2ヶ国語で動画で公開することといたしました。広く公開することで、議論を深めようというのが本フォーラムのねらいです。 |

On April 20, the University of Tokyo School of Public Health (SPH) held a forum with the theme, “The Great East Japan Earthquake and its Aftermath; Overcoming Public Health Challenges” The devastation from the earthquake and tsunami and the impact from the subsequent Fukushima Dai-ichi Nuclear Plant accident has brought about a situation never experienced before. The forum aimed to ascertain how the University of Tokyo SPH should deal with the various challenges from mid- and long-term perspectives. On July 5, the University of Tokyo School of Public Health (SPH) held a forum with the theme, “The Great East Japan Earthquake and its Aftermath: Public Health and Health Information Management”. It was the second installment following up the themes discussed in the first forum held on April 20, 2011. |
