| 【the 1st Forum 2011.4.20 The Great East Japan Earthquake and its Aftermath; Overcoming Public Health Challenges】On April 20, the University of Tokyo School of Public Health (SPH) held a forum with the theme, “The Great East Japan Earthquake and its Aftermath; Overcoming Public Health Challenges” The devastation from the earthquake and tsunami and the impact from the subsequent Fukushima Dai-ichi Nuclear Plant accident has brought about a situation never experienced before. The forum aimed to ascertain how the University of Tokyo SPH should deal with the various challenges from mid- and long-term perspectives.
On July 5, the University of Tokyo School of Public Health (SPH) held a forum with the theme, “The Great East Japan Earthquake and its Aftermath: Public Health and Health Information Management”. It was the second installment following up the themes discussed in the first forum held on April 20, 2011. |
